FEM IN STEM is dedicated to inspiring, supporting, and empowering young women who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our club provides opportunities for students to explore STEM fields through hands-on experiences, leadership opportunities, and meaningful collaboration with peers.
We believe every student should have the opportunity to discover their potential and feel confident pursuing interests in STEM, regardless of previous experience or background.
Throughout the school year, members participate in a variety of STEM activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem solving. These experiences allow students to explore real-world STEM concepts while developing valuable academic and leadership skills.
Members participate in engaging laboratory activities and STEM experiments that make learning interactive and fun.
Students hear from professionals and college students who share their experiences in STEM careers and educational pathways.
FEM IN STEM members help inspire younger students through elementary school outreach activities and STEM education events.
Women remain underrepresented in many STEM careers. By creating a supportive environment where students can learn, explore, and lead, FEM IN STEM helps build confidence and encourages members to pursue future opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Beyond STEM knowledge, members develop communication skills, teamwork, leadership experience, and lasting friendships. Our goal is not only to prepare students for future careers but also to create a community where everyone feels encouraged to grow and succeed.
